Boris Graffiti 5.3 features an enhanced Effects Library Browser, making it easier than ever to select and apply thousands of preset effects. For example, title preset text can now be directly edited in the Effects Library Browser!
In this tutorial, we'll take a closer look at how to create innovative title effects in minutes - using Boris Graffiti 5.3 in Sony Vegas Pro 8. Although the tutorial is written for Vegas, the same Boris Graffiti user interface and step-by-step instructions would apply to any supported host application, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, and Pinnacle Studio...
1. Add a new title by dragging the Boris Graffiti Preset from the Video FX tab onto your clip in the timeline; the Video Event FX window will appear. Click on the Boris Graffiti logo to open the Graffiti interface.

2. A Graffiti template Library Browser window appears on the screen. Use this window to select a desired template and type in your own text.

3. Choose a category of templates from the list on the left. Select a template on the right by clicking on the preview thumbnail.

4. Selected template appears in the Preview Panel on the left. This panel offers button controls for playing the animation and choosing the preview quality.

6. Press blue Insert Text button to add new text to the template. To return to Studio press the green Apply button.

Now you will see your new title applied to a clip in StudioSony Vegas Pro. To change the text or to choose another template, right click on the clip and select Video Event FX, then select the Boris Graffiti logo again to open the Graffiti settings.
