Next Step: select the track called London Taxi. Use a shortcut button at the bottom of Control window to add a Texture track
A new Texture layer is created and filled with Video 1 from your host program.

Next, grab the Paint track and drop it on the Texture track. Turn off the Media track with the eyeball icon to remove the Video 1 image from the texture. Select the Paint track. Your timeline should look as shown below.

Now we need to move the paint layer in 2D so that it covers the text. Switch to Transform tab in the Controls window.

Move the on-screen position widget (blue circle) in the composite window until the paint covers most of the text.
Almost done. Now I can adjust the brush style to better suit the desired look. To change the brush size I need to switch to the Paint Stroke 1 track. In the Control window look for the Size control.

Observe how the paint texture starts to fill in with increasing size. Another interesting idea is to try various pre-saved brush styles. With Style window open on the Brush tab, choose Spray Brushes category from a pop-up box on the left.
Tip: Use Control/Command 7 shortcut to get to the Styles palette).

You can simply double click on style thumbnails to ?try on? various styles.
Once the desired look is achieved we can put the final touch by animating the paint stroke.
Select Paint track in timeline.
Position current time (CTI) to the first frame
Change interpolation of Strokes Begin to Linear (you can also try Accelerated or Decelerated)
Change value of Strokes Begin to 100 (to reverse the direction use Stroke end at 0 instead)

Play back the animation. The paint stroke will follow the path revealing the text underneath. Enjoy the show!
