The Audio Output Preference panel has been updated to include the Bus to Channel Mapping configuration. Here you map your Bus tracks to your Output Channels. The number of Output Channels is limited by your video capture board.
The Audio window has been redesigned to include: Audio Tracks, Bus Tracks, and Output Channels. New in this version is the Master bus with up to eight separate audio bus tracks. From the Audio window you can, map your Audio tracks (RED Shade) to a Bus track, map your Bus tracks (GREEN Shade) to Output Channels. Finally the Output Channels (BLUE Shade) allow you to monitor your audio output levels.
The Timeline window has been updated to include up to eight Bus channels. When a Bus track is not assigned to an Output Channel it will show in the Timeline in Red letters. "B5" is not assigned to a Output Channel. Likewise, Audio tracks not assigned to a Bus will have the track name in Red as well.
The New Program window UI update allows you to map your Audio tracks to specific Bus tracks.

The Track Setup window has also been updated to include the Audio track mapping. Track setup can be accessed from the file menu: Track>Track Setup. From this window you can modify the Audio track to Bus track configuration of a selected Timeline.

Master to tape has expanded the number of audio channels Media 100 can record to tape. The outputs vary based on Hardware and type of output. For example: AES, SDI.

You are now able to export from Media 100 a clip with multiple audio channels by selecting "Buses as Separate Tracks". This will take the audio bus mapping from Media 100 and export each Bus to separate audio tracks.
With the new version you are able to apply Audio Effects on individual Bus tracks in your timeline.
