Learn how to use Boris Blue as a plugin inside of Adobe Premiere Pro.
In this tutorial I'll show you how to create a camera pull transition similar to some the presets found in our library. In order to achieve this effect we'll need to use our new Target Camera and 3D split views.
The following tutorial exercises provide step-by-step instructions for creating various kinds of effects, while exploring many aspects of the BORIS BLUE user interface and functionality. The exercises are a good starting point if you’re unfamiliar with BORIS BLUE.
Importing 3D Models into BORIS BLUE
Even if you haven’t mastered 3D modeling, you can still add 3D impact to your projects. BLUE is an ideal solution for 3D newbies since it lets you tap into a collection of shareware models in the .3ds and .obj formats. When you import 3D models individual geometry groups, texture maps and bump maps are preserved. Once imported, you can animate with drag-and-drop simplicity and customize the models with innovative pixel shaders. This tutorial uses a 3D model of a taxi that is available for download from www.PlanIT3D.com.
