More Sweet Presets to look at

Hollywood Day For Night - This technique is used quite often in today’s movies.  For a good example of this, check out the opening sequence of a train chugging through a Russian countryside in “The Peacemaker” - starring George Clooney.  It was all originally shot in daytime and made to look like night.  Recommended for exteriors:

Twilight Time - This conveys that warm, romantic feeling of twilight – the period at the end of the day when the sun is setting and casting an orange fuzzy glow on everything.  Regular daytime footage can be color adjusted to mimic this look and it doesn’t always have to be applied to a Reese Witherspoon romantic comedy!  In the action thriller “Executive Decision” - starring Kurt Russell, a good portion of the film was given the twilight look.  Recommended for exteriors:

Night Interior - Ever watch a night scene in a movie where someone turns off a bedroom lamp and the lighting doesn’t go completely dark?  Instead, a cooler, desaturated light meant to mimic that nighttime feel replaces the warm tungsten light of the lamp.  This lighting style is used often by directors such as James Cameron (see “True Lies”).  Recommended for interiors:

Bleach Bypass - Bleach bypass, also known as skip bleach or silver retention, is an optical effect, which entails either the partial or complete skipping of the bleaching function during the processing of a film.  The result is a black and white image over a color image.  The film “1984” subtly employed this technique, and “Saving Private Ryan” used it to greater effect.  Recommended for interiors or exteriors:

Color Push - Also referred to as “Push Processing” or “Force Processing”, is a term from photography, referring to a development technique that increases the speed of the film being processed.  By push processing film, a higher film speed than the manufacturer's indication can be achieved, allowing the film to be used under lighting conditions that would ordinarily be too low for good exposures.  Recommended for interiors or exteriors:
