Q: How do I purchase a downloadable product from your Online Store?

A: The first step is to download the "Trial Version" of the product you wish to purchase. Trial Version for all Boris Products can be found at www.borisfx.com/downloads/. After you download the "Trial version" you will receive an installation serial number which you will need to run the software installer (always enter a vaild email address so that you can receive the installation serial number). After you receive the installation serial number, you can install the "Trial Version" of the software. Once the Trial Version is installed visit www.borisfx.com/purchase/instructions.php for specific instructions on how to purchase the software you have downloaded.


Q: I purchased a product via your online store. Why was I not sent a download "link"? How do I download my "Download only" version of the software?

A: We do not send download links after an order is placed on the online store. You must download the "Trial Version" of the software at www.borisfx.com/downloads/, and then follow the instructions at www.borisfx.com/purchase/instructions.php . Orders placed that do not follow this procedure will not be processed correctly, meaning you may not receive your software at all. Please be sure to read all instructions thoroughly before placing an online order.


Q: I purchased a downloadable product from your online store and now I need to reinstall it on my new or newly set up computer. Do I need a new code to reinstall the software?

A: Yes, you do. Each time the software is installed on a different or recently updated computer, the downloadable software will return a new "Unique product ID" ( learn more about the "Unique Product ID" here: www.borisfx.com/purchase/instructions.php ). Please send this new "Unique Product ID" to sales@borisfx.com with your original download order number, and we will generate you the new code.


Q: My "Trial Version" has started to put an "X" across everything I do with the software. Why is this happening?

A: The "X" will be rendered across all frames after the 14 day trial period has ended. There is no way to turn this off without first purchasing the full license of the downloaded software.


Q: My "Trial Version" has expired after the 14 day period. Is there a way that you can give me a few more days to finish up what I was working on?

A: Unfortunately, there is no way for us to extend the evaluation period. Even if you download the "Trial Version" software again, it will operate in DEMO mode only and render an "X" across the frame.


Q: I have downloaded a "Trial Version" of your software, but I'm having technical trouble with the application. Do I get any technical Support with the "Trial Version"?

A: We will provide Technical assistance via email only for trial version issues. We answer as many of these questions as possible, however, we do not guarantee that your issue will be addressed immediately.
