Custom Plug-ins

Boris FX and Red are plug-in applications. You apply these full-featured effects applications directly to clips in your host timeline. You then open a custom user interface where you create your effects. This architecture allows both applications to share an interface that appears and behaves the same across different platforms and in each of the more than 20 supported NLEs, including Apple Final Cut Pro, Avid systems, and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Red is a 3D compositing, titling and effects application that combines advanced compositing, vector titling, paint, robust 3D creation and animation plus the industry leading DVE. It includes all the Graffiti and FX features then adds features, including stand alone rendering. learn more >>

Native Plug-ins

Continuum Complete and Final Effects Complete use a very different architecture, specialized for a handful of host applications. Instead of using the custom Boris interface, they use the native effects interface of their host applications. The Continuum product line consists of Continuum Complete, Continuum Complete AVX, and Continuum Complete for Discreet Sparks®. Continuum Complete is for users of Adobe® After Effects®, Adobe Premiere Pro®, Apple® Final Cut Pro®, and Boris Red®, systems. Continuum Complete AVX is for users of Avid® nonlinear editing systems.
