Continuum Complete is an expansive filter set that lets you create effects directly in the native interface of Discreet Inferno®, Fire®, Flame®, Flint® and Smoke® systems. This addition to the Continuum product line is based on Discreet's Sparks architecture and features support for both IRIX and Linux based systems. Sparks is an advanced Application Programming Interface (API) for developing custom plug-ins.

Volume I includes more than 70 filters in four categories, Colors and Blurs, Effects, Lights and Wipe Transitions. Among the highlights are sophisticated glows and OpenGL-based generators that simulate real-life lighting such as lens flares, glints and glares.

Volume II will be available in later 2006 and will include an additional 80 filters in four categories, Distortion and Perspective, Generators, Keys and Mattes and Time.

Hundreds of user customizable presets, online help system and a minimal learning curve streamline effects creation. Continuum offers animatable apply modes, integrated motion tracking, and built-in pixel matting and region masking in each spark. Sophisticated image processing filters include glows, film process emulation, film damage simulation, OpenGL based lens flares and glints, volumetric lighting simulators, and automated organic wipe effects.
