For this tutorial, we're going to use the BCC Glint filter to add star-shaped glints to a portion of an image clip. The clip that we are working with features two children, a boy and a girl, sitting beside each other on a wicker bench. The children each hold a glass in their hands and the glass that the girl is holding is reflecting light from the sun. We are going to add a few glints to the reflection on the glass that the girl is holding. We'll then use BCC's PixelChooser masking system to contain the effect to just the specular highlight on this glass and we'll also use the built-in motion tracker to lock the mask onto the glass over the length of the clip. We're using the Autodesk flame system on Linux for this exercise, but this effect could be accomplished just as easily in any of the other Autodesk systems such as the flint, inferno, smoke, fire or combustion...
