FEC AVX enhances your Avid effect creation capabilities with unique organic filters and transitions. Specialized particle and warping effects that have been used by generations of After Effects artists are now available directly inside your Avid System.
FE Ball Action transforms an image into balls that can rotate and twist in X, Y, and Z space, then scatter in all directions. If general twisting is not enough, Avid users can twist the image based on RGB channels, Brightness or different preset shapes. Only opaque pixels are transformed into balls.
FE Bubbles creates a bubble effect in the selected image. Avid users can set the type of reflection and shading for the bubbles. The bubbles can reflect the entire source image or be given self-contained reflections, as if each bubble was reflecting itself. The bubbles can have edges that fade to white or black; you can also set the levels of transparenc for the edges or center.
FE Vector Blur gives an image a painted look by defining a vector field along which a blur takes place. Several methods to define the vector field. For example, use the default settings and animate the Modify Angle (Direction) while keyframing the Blur Length to create a ghostly look.
FE Mr. Smoothie uses the luminance of a second input to create a flowing, psychedelic pattern on a cutout of the second image. Mr. Smoothie can also create background textures or wild special effects by choosing not to access the second input options within the filter's settings.
